Our client is looking for Structural AND Civil Engineers for these open roles!
Structural Engineer Job Description:
- Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates detailed phases of the civil/structural engineering work for a global business unit, a project or staff group to include the preparation of original designs layouts, details, drawings and specifications for structures, building, roadways, railroads, etc.
- Designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates Civil/Structural components and processes utilizing relevant Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs), design standards and guides, Company Standard Application Programs (BSAPs) and Design Control Check List (DCCL) and Design Review Notices (DRNs)
- Designs structures using advanced knowledge of structural analysis, including statics, dynamics, and materials engineering
- Determines the appropriate use of various structural elements such as steel, wood, masonry, and concrete to ensure appropriate material is used based on load or stress requirements
- Originates and checks complex structural engineering deliverables, such as steel and concrete calculations, specifications, and material requisitions
- Analyzes problems with conflicting design requirements, sketches ideas and possible solutions
- Analyzes and reports on the suitability of unconventional materials, techniques and/or difficult coordination requirements
- Plans, coordinates, or prepares equipment, work and material specifications, bid evaluations and award recommendations
- Prepares procurement and subcontract requisition documents and performs associated technical bid evaluations with award recommendations
- Provides assistance to project and construction management in identifying and complying with project Civil/Structural requirements and in addressing issues as they arise during project execution
Civil Engineer Job Description:
- In this role as Senior Civil Engineer, you will support civil design for the project.
- This will entail originating/checking civil calculations, specifications, material requisitions, and technical studies or reports.
- Additionally, checking design drawings and review and coordination of vendor information and leading technical discussions and constructability reviews.

- Evaluates, selects, and applies standard civil engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria, using independent judgment in making adaptations and modifications.
- Coordinates work and collaborates with other engineering disciplines, procurement, and construction
- Assists in constructability reviews.
Skills Required
- Prior experience in designing facilities, roadways, site layout, and/or grading plans.
- Ability to independently execute the design of facilities, roadways, site layout, and/or grading plans.
- Experience with CADD applications, such as Civil 3D, Revit, or MicroStation.
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Thorough knowledge of engineering deliverables, such as drawings, specifications, and material requisitions and construction methods
Education/Training/Certifications
- Requires a bachelor's degree
